Thiago is a downhill speed demon, so this wheel was designed to go sideways and slide. However it suits so many longboard styles. Perfect on a dance deck, setting up a retro 80s deck for cruising and skating in the park, or a fast rolling wheel for cruiser or skateboard.
The diameter of 65mm means you get a high rotation and makes your setup even lighter. They come in the smoothest formula ever developed by Cuei Wheels, with a 78a durometer and a contact patch of only 28mm, providing less friction with the ground.
Another great detail of this wheel is the position of the core, 100% offset. This directs your weight on the inner parts of the wheels, further increasing its control and making it even smoother.
What are they like to slide?
This wheel is super fun. It slides for ever but no ice outs. Definitely a butter slide, easy initiation. They do wear fast, so rotate the wheels after a few sessions.
