The Lavinia sandstone foot file is a circular piece of solid Orsa sandstone. Smooth on one side and with concentric grooves on the other for a more abrasive effect. Use during your bath or shower, or immediately afterwards to gently rub away cracked and dead skin using the fluted side, concentrating on the heels. The smooth side will then smooth and soften the rest of the foot, finishing with your favourite foot lotion or oil. A stylish addition to the bathroom, this beautiful file sits on its own natural, sustainable cork base.

Toockies by Lavinia Trade are a range of hand knitted self-care products made in India using GOTS certified cotton yarn. In the Toockies Fairtrade Project near Kolkata, overseen by the local NGO ‘Promise Charitable Trust’, women are supported in this Fairtrade project by being taught to knit at the local community centre. They have had a bathroom installed on the premises for the knitters use, and a Doctor to provide free health checks to the women and their children. Each week the women collect their yarn, and drop off the finished product, where it is checked made ready for customers - you will even find the name of the individual knitter hand written on the sustainable packaging.

Their fabulous Nordic design and quality makes these luxury beauty care products wonderful to use and last for generations. Swedish Orsa sandstone is 360 million years old and comes from mountains surrounded by forest, home to elk and bear, and is made up of silicon-bonded quartz. It’s unusual abrasion resistance and long-lasting durability makes it primarily used for building blocks, millstones and grinding stones.
